Lest we forget
This is the month to remember. Your kids are probably involved in something with the schools so let your neighbours know about it. If you get a chance, check out our theme page and learn a little bit more about Remembrance Day. Whether your aim is to teach your children, or to refresh your own memory, you will find some interesting information there.
November is one of those “grey” months. The ground is rarely covered with snow for more than a day, but the grass has withered. Instead, we are left with this mid-brown to grey colour that can permeate the entire month if we’re not careful. Sometimes it is tough to keep yourself and your family upbeat in spite of the rapidly changing weather. So, as you think about the courageous Canadians who fought for our freedoms - take the time to think about what you love about Canada...and remind someone. Let's appreciate that we still live in one of the greatest countries on the planet!
